Chang Jiang

Changjiang is the third longest river in the world. Its also the longest river in Asia and in a single country.

Changjiang flows west of China from its sources in Qinghai towards East China sea at Shanghai. It flows through 11 provinces from Qinghai, Tibet, Yunnan, Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Anhui, Jiangsu and Shanghai.

Min River

The Min River flows from Chengdu to Yibin.

Jinsha River flows from Yunnan to Yibin. The upper stretch of Changjiang is alos know as Jinsha River.

Changjiang River in the centre is form at the confluence of Min on the left and Jinsha River on the right side. Yibin is the first city along the Changjiang River.

It is the first town along the Changjiang River and listed as a historical and cultural town.

The Wusong Emplacement Memorial Square was in this park as it was the site of gun emplacements along Huangpu and Chang Jiang river. They saw action during the major conflicts: - Opium War (1842), Songhu Anti Japanese War (1932 and 1937) and Wusong Battle for Shanghai Liberation (1949).
